Iroha-Bun (an Iroha song)

It has been getting cooler and cooler in Japan.

We can feel Autumn with red and/or yellow leaves, Autumn foods, and so on.

Also, we enjoy reading books in Autumn.

It is the "Book Week" from Oct 27th till Nov 9th.

 

Today, we introduce the Furoshiki, YUZENZOME IROHA-BUN.

Iroha-bun is the song utilizing the seven-five syllable meter, used to recite the Japanese alphabet. The seven-five syllable meter is a form for Japanese poetry.

This used to be accepted as a copy of writing practice widely, too.
